Inspiration of the Day...
Tuesday: it is hard to feel anything right now considering I haven't had coffee yet this morning. But good thing I planned ahead last night! I already have inspiration-- I figured Tuesday might try to pull this tired shit with me-- so I planned ahead! Today's inspiration comes from Will Ferrell's website FunnyorDie.com. The cool thing about the website is that you can choose whether something is funny or not. And depending on the amount of negative or positive votes the clip is removed or published further.
My point: Today think about what activities in your life allow you to choose. Variety and choices (although overwhelming at times) are liberating. I can't stand watching television because of commercials and the lack of interactive choice. Why do I want to listen to screaming advertisements every ten minutes? I don't. And neither do most people- hence the foreshadowed death of television! It is all about choice people! 2009 wooo hooo--- life and business have turned into my elementary school- where every concern revolves around choosing the perfect smackers lip flavor to buy at Walgreen's before each day. Yes a myriad of smackers chap sticks very well could have sparked this whole crazy obsessed choice generation. Well thank god for that- because I hate not having a choice- or a vote - or equal rights. So today- focus on aspects in your life which allow you to choose and create opportunity. Or perhaps maybe evaluate an aspect of your life that has been stunted from the lack of choice and opportunity; then analyze how you might bring more variety to that certain area in your life. Oh how I missed you blog! It's Monday--- and I am feeling that this week is going to be fabulous and productive. Can't you just feel the fabulous energy in your bones as you stretch those gorgeous limbs of yours this morning? No? Yes? Maybe? ---- don't be negative--- just trust me... this week is going to be the bees knees. I mean let's face it- this week is already tons better than last week and it is only Monday. Seriously I spend so much time (well a little time at least) worrying about not offending people-- worrying about staying politically correct. Well is it all worth my effort? I usually end up offending people anyways- so ask yourself today: How far does editing what you say really get you? Is it worth it? Perhaps today- when you take the bull by the horns and say exactly what you mean- people will perceive you as a deliciously vivacious threat in which demands more respect and less lip! I think this is exciting--- all very new--- see where your attitude can take you today. You are smart and driven so why not let the world know--- tell it like it is people! Go girl go! oh so late today at my blog-- do forgive- do forgive--- onto today's inspiration! Thursday my personal favorite day of the week has come! The day we all pretend is Friday and end up drinking a Saturday's serving of booze and in return end up spending most of Friday in a Sunday attitude until Friday evening hits and you feel like its Saturday night. Time travel solved- alcohol is the culprit.
Today I ask perhaps as a cliche, what is love? I was discussing this topic recently with a new friend and as I was describing my close calls with love I observed that the emotions I was describing pertain more to anxiety, stress, and insecurity. "I couldn't breathe" my friend would say. "All i could think about was him" I'd say.
Thankfully I haven't been close to falling head over heals many times. However, what is this idea that love makes people fall head over heals? Love sick, love crazy-- all this jazz and hype? Is Love existing in bed as a paradox with insanity? It must be. For today I want to acknowledge my idea of love. Love is passion, love to me is truly believing in the cause for which your partner lives for. Love is music and art- and a relationship with oneself. Excuse me if i don't want to fall head over heals in love, I have a future to plan- and I would like to partake in it. I don't want to fall head over heals- and i don't want to be sick-- as for I already feel that way this morning hence my late posting. People (including myself) can become so overwhelmed with the idea of falling in love and looking for that true love that we forget all the love we already know. --- -so today I am giving a shout out to music--- a true love of mine--- I'm in love with Adele's song "Hometown Glory" --- this song could only be the outcome of the relationship an artist holds with his or her world. Inspiration of the Day...
Happy Hump day! Wednesday (disregarding it's confusing spelling because everyone really pronounces Win-ss-day_) is always a very comforting day to embark upon. Today is the peak of our work week- and tomorrows tasks will only be lessened because of the pain and agony we experience on Wednesday! Which brings me to the inspiration-- or rather theme of today--- which is Ambition baby... Ambition, and I am talking Kanye West status ambition here-- so this is serious! Wednesday is the perfect day to finish a daunting project, or to set knew goals. A cognitive therapist once told me life is a chain- in which it length and strength is determined by an individuals ability to complete and connect one link (aka goal) at a time. So as far as your goals- and ambition- it is practical and most effective to set goals in which can be completed upon in a feasible time frame. Rather than say- I am going to become a media icon today-- perhaps it is of better reasoning to say, this week i am going to file my business license so i can start on my way to becoming the new Oprah.
And no one knows ambition quite like the demon and mother goddess of the fashion world... Anna Wintour. Yes she was born into a publishing empire-- and yes she dropped out of high school, and yes she is British so her humor is awful, but all aside this women has set up for herself an empire in which was certainly was not created over night. My boss Janis Leonard always says... It is not how important you are, rather it how important you think you are that counts!--- Anna Wintour among other successful people certainly did not look for the acceptance and advice of their peers to become who they are. Of course everyone should listen and absorb knowledge- however at the end of the day--- you yourself have to believe your opinion upon the work you do is supreme to all others. Take it from here Barbra Walters--- Enjoy lovers:

Tuesday Tuesday- what is there even to say about Tuesday, not much. If you don't have anything nice to say- say nothing at all. And that my friends is advice I have taken to heart with our dear Tuesday.
So last night- actually not last night- about a week ago I had the pleasure of catching Jerry Maguire on the tube. And let me just say- despite Tom Cruise and all of his homosexual demonizing Scientologist ways; the man can act when he puts his mind to it. He has so much energy, like a little toy dog shaking with excitement for a little treat. What resonated with me the most from the film was the periodical quotes given by Jerry's mentour throughout the movie- you might not remember this however trust me they are there. Anyways the quote i enjoyed most is as follows:
If you don't love everyone- You can't sell anyone!"
This quote goes along with- If you don't have anything nice to say- don't say anything at all. So today if you encounter some sort of feud with say a Starbucks barista for adding the wrong sugar or health boost or whatever- remember that that barista might end up being your boss one day-- and just let it slide mofo's let it slide because after all it is a very small world. Burning bridges can only make your world less accessible. And on that note here is our inspiration of Tuesday. A kid from the Make a Wish foundation-- who even on his death bed found it in his heart to give- rather than ask for Madonna to show up at his bedside with flowers (for we all know that is what i would ask for ha). This boy is a free dove in heaven now- but has managed to inspire a rather ordinary Tuesday----- be a giver today--- put that change from your smokes in the plastic box at circle k for kids with cancer! Tuesday is officially all about love giving- says I!

ITS MONDAY!!!!! oh gosh- hope you beautiful people had a good weekend and that you were productive is some sort of way. Whether that be getting that well needed beauty rest or finishing folding the laundry that has been sitting in the dryer for days upon days. Anyways lets not talk about laundry-- its depressing oh so depressing! fold after fold -oh how redundant and arduous. Anywhooodles today's inspiration comes from nun other than that cracky Brit Lilly Allen- the song, "fuck you"--- Youtubers have created a little homage to the song and have compiled a series of clips is which they flip off the camera and act overtly homo to inspire equal rights or something. In a world full of mediocrity and redundancy- my blog serves as
a publishing outlet for ideas and people (including projects of my own)that i believe are inspiring & far from mediocre.
I look around every day and see so much potential and beauty... everything
is so exciting! I can't stand the mundane and uninspired concepts of
the majority. From architecture, fashion ,media, technology, business and charity--
I am on the search for people who are passionate in what they are doing.
So I am looking forward to this blog-- I have created it to better publicize
my Network of individuals and Concepts (hence Dante N+C- network and conceptions)that help make this world fucking cool and unique!
